Hhuuhuhuh okay BB will tell you, it's Sakura x Hakuno ! You don't know anything about them though so don't even bother trying to figure it out. (๑>•̀๑)
Yeah exactly, but it hit the point in the story where basically the two can never meet - like say as if Venat and you went back to your own home worlds. Like that basically! Welp, that's my OTP ╮ (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) ╭!
BB still has the script from the light novel that came out first in her database. Here let me paste this part of it for you:
As the girl, Sakura, stands there before a wall of fire, she contemplates the value of her life. What it had meant to come this far for the one she loved, and who it is she was doing this all for. This wall of fire would soon burn them all if she did nothing, and burns away at her even now as she holds it back. Coming to destroy the last living entities in this existing reality. This one girl, continues to defy even the laws of this dying world.
"But I didn't do anything." Sakura hears their voice, the voice of the one she loves. Turning her head only momentarily to speak her last words goodbye. A self-spoken eulogy comes forth from her lips. To answer her beloved, "Oh, it's natural that you don't understand. After all, you didn't do anything big. And you were kind of dull. You could not stand out next to the talented chosen ones you were fighting against. Yet none of them were the one who extended a hand out toward me. The fact that you, someone anyone could find anywhere, smiled and spoke with kind words. The fact that you... It was you who put your all into whatever you did. Made me happy. Just that was enough. For someone even like me, to dream."
Sakura gasps, as her body continues to scream at her and warns her that she cannot let herself die. It is an order that is embodied in her existence, that she cannot disobey - but even in this moment when her body is commanding her to move away. Sakura chooses to push forward, going against her existence itself. Letting her self-demise come into play - burning, she is burning away.
The one being saved, Hakuno, finds themself grimacing, not understanding how this girl says that much. Saying that she was fine with just so little. Thinking that Sakura was truly only happy with their shared everyday routine. That she wanted nothing more, than just those moments with them. Those small moments they both repeated in the infirmary. Just the days spent simply talking with one another. Those days, those days were more than enough for this girl - Sakura - to be okay with making the whole world her enemy.
"Golden King of Heroes," Sakura addresses the Hero beside Hakuno. Smiling a somber smile, knowing that they made the world their enemy, and won at the end of it all. Despite how inconsequential her life was, and how she was ultimately always at the very beginning... Meant to never exist. Here, she would watch the one thing she fought for. Be free, just as she had intended, "Take them away. Take them far, far away."
It is strangely cathartic, everything was going to end soon, "Far enough that my hands won't reach them. Far enough that they'll lose sight of these lingering attachments and dreams."
"I assure you," The King of Heroes says, far gentler than he has ever spoken to her before,"That I hear you and will grant you this wish. Oh, drifting butterfly, which emerges here from its cocoon in its final moments, and disappears. Exhaust all that you are, and vanish here without regrets. Knowing that you have won, just as you intended."
She stands there as the Great Hero takes her treasure to safety, leaving this realm of reality and escaping somewhere else. Where they would live freely, and happily, while the Butterfly fully emerged from its cocoon. Unable to hold back the flames anymore, burned away at last.
[ Maruki reads it once. Then again, to really take in the story. Then again, cataloguing certain words.
Infirmary. Making the whole world her enemy. Inconsequential.
Maruki will remember that.

That really is an incredible story. I can see why it appeals to you. I have to admit that I enjoy a story of doomed love as well... And of course, wishes for happiness being granted has its own appeal too.
A light novel, huh... Are these people a work of fiction in your reality?
Not at all, it is your right to make dreams and reach for them. Humans will one day move beyond the Earth, the Moon, and even death itself, eventually.
If you think about it more logically, if a dream you have is never reached. There is always the next generation to reach for it, on your behalf. If not you, someone else always will.
I never looked at it that way before. I guess you're right. Then again, I tend to look at and deal with things on a very personal, one on one, micro level - by your very nature, you have a much more universal macro view. It's why talking to you is helpful for expanding my viewpoints. I feel the same about talking with Venat.
Venats like a catholic God on crack and sexier - like if she was the face of the bible that woman would have everyone on earth obsessed with going to church.

Wishes for happiness huh? Happiness is something humans should attain, not wish for. It is your right to take after all.
no subject
Well, of course I agree. And I think the goal of most people is to be happy, in the end. Sometimes it feels like it can only be a wish, though.
no subject
If a wish is never attained, it is better off that way, frankly. Whatever wish not gained, was never meant to be yours in the first place.
Humans are so cute and greedy, little pigs that want to eat more and more!

Let me ask you a question, then. Do you believe humans should give up on dreams if they seem impossible?

If you think about it more logically, if a dream you have is never reached. There is always the next generation to reach for it, on your behalf. If not you, someone else always will.
