Actually... yes. Despite the Phantom Thieves needing to come together again, it was a wonderful summer. I'm really happy I got to see everyone.
When she had first arrived, she was so scattered and confused that her inclination had been not to tell Maruki anything. Back then, it was entirely hard to know if he was friend or foe.

I think I only mentioned a little of the situation to you, now that I remember. The police began to suspect the Phantom Thieves of changing hearts, as unusual happenings were occurring with the public and their behaviour. We also discovered the Metaverse had returned, but it differed this time. Instead of Palaces, they were called Jails and the Palace Rulers were called Monarchs.
Yes, it was definitely a shock to revisit the Metaverse so soon! And fighting an AI that gained self-awareness and intended to create a paradise with no suffering or desires. Fighting another god under a year was certainly not expected...
He was a politician responsible for many of the change of hearts, trying to remove his own opponents and abuse that power.

He's been dealt with at least. The Public Security Commissioner and the inspector who had been helping us will make sure he pays for his crimes since his arrest. I hope that's the last of the Metaverse for now.

So as of September 2017, we've all had no more encounters with the Metaverse. If only there was a way we could keep track together, stay ahead of any situation. We must work together, after all.
