[ Akechi is a liar. And he's already committed to helping Maruki learn and train his persona. If there's information he can infer, he will, and that ruse of not having any experience himself won't hold up. If he's capable of it, he'd be better off copping to it up front.
And anyway, he hasn't been at this long, right? Has only heard anecdotes of others who can wield personas, never met one, isn't that what he said?
So Azathoth's many tentacles wriggle enticingly. ]
Your turn. Let me know what Robin Hood picks up about my friend here. Maybe it knows more than you've been able to test thus far.

I'm not a navigator. Short of trial and error through attack and observance, I doubt I'll find out much.
[But it is 2:30 AM. Maruki indulged his request and he'll do the same.
'Robin Hood' is called forth again and-
He is a goddamn navigator. This is a good opportunity for him. Vash's fiasco too chaotic, Maruki's summon too bizarre for him to to do any traditional skill checks.
Akechi doesn't move. Neither does Robin Hood and-
It doesn't matter.
Azathoth sans tentacles has no weakness to decipher in few seconds he concentrates on the creature. Nothing. Not impossible of shadows, but uncommon. Beyond rare. Only a handful confronted in Akechi's time in the Metaverse.
Eyes widen and eyebrows raise - a hint of the surprise he truly feels, but nothing else betrays his actual reaction. His expression remains neutral, if not bored, and that look in his eyes levels out in an instant.
Robin Hood vanishes again.]
As expected - nothing. My apologies if that's disappointing. It's a shame my capabilities are limited to battle, but we'll find out in time what your weakness is through training. While not important at the moment, it is vital information so you can cover yourself appropriately.
[A pause. He turns to leave and in a voice light, airy and almost playful-]
Or maybe I found out and want to keep it to myself so I can easily take you down someday. Wouldn't it be funny if you were weak to bless skills? [A pause. Smile plastered.] I'm kidding, of course. Do you have any other questions?

[Oh this should be good.]

If you have to resort to subterfuge to win against me, I'm going to be really disappointed.
[ Azathoth is finally gone again, for the last time. Maruki waves at the blurry form of Akechi in the darkened doorway. ]
No, that's all. Let's do this again sometime.

Goodnight, Maruki.
[And off he goes-
Leaving the door wide open as a final fuck you.]
