All I can do right now is be with the people I care about before they're gone, so I told someone that I've had feelings for her for a long time. I want to take her on a date, but I have no idea where to begin.

Subaru took me on a date, and I liked it, but I can't just copy what he did for me. It has to be for her.

What sort of things did you two normally do before you got together?

We see each other every day. We have ever since she got here. We train with swords, but we do other things too. We talk about things, and just mess around.

We painted that bowl I told you about, and she painted me the ocean, too.

And we were looking for something, for a while.

Well... You two have spent a lot of time together already, so it might be difficult to find a new activity for a date, especially in a place like this. We're not exactly as spoiled for choice as I'm used to.

That said, I have a few ideas. Have you ever been up on Starlight Cliff at night?

I have, but that's something I just did with Subaru. It kind of feels like it should just be our thing for a while.

Well, it is summer, and there's a beach, isn't there? What if you guys had a picnic and went swimming? That's always fun.

Have you been up inside of the windmill? I checked it out. It's empty, but it's cool. If someone just cleaned it up a little, it might make an interesting spot, I think.

I think you're onto something, Eren. That's definitely a unique place to take someone. It would be secluded, which is always nice... and secluded without being dangerous, to boot, which is a rarity here.

But you're right, "let's hang out inside a windmill" isn't exactly the best invitation. My picnic idea stands - you could clean it up and bring in lanterns to make it a rather romantic place, maybe?

I figured I should bring some good stuff to eat, yeah. At this point, it would be stupid if I didn't. That's all I do...

The lanterns are a good idea. I thought different kinds of tea too, maybe. Like nice kinds.

Really, I just want to talk to her, more than anything.

A tea tasting date would be sweet! See, you have good ideas.

Then tell her that. Has she been on a date at all before? It might put her at ease to know that all you really want is to have time alone to talk.

For whatever it's worth, no matter what activity the date centers around, that's usually what they're about in the end. Just talking, getting to know one another - even for two people who have been friends for a while and know each other well already, like you and Aubrey-san do.

If not to put her at ease, then just to let her know. It's such a simple thing, isn't it? To be told that someone you care very much about just wants to talk to you. It's heart warming. She might like to hear it.

Yes, I think that's a great first date. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that.

Besides... You never know what this place has in store, and sometimes that's meant positively as well. I've heard of some rooms in the labyrinth that would be conducive to a date. Sharing a dream could lend itself to a date.
