[It's been a little more than the few days Li Lianhua had promised Maruki for settling into his new home. The ingredients and good health necessary for a two-day mooncake baking spree weren't easy to come by and he went through two batches of ruined dough and at least three batches of unsatisfactory fillings before he got it right.
And then, of course, everyone else had to get their fill. Maruki is last on the list, but on the list he is indeed, and Li Lianhua even made use of the annoying little device to announce himself first. He had to make sure that man actually had time to prepare that strawberry treat he'd been promised, after all. He's not taking this walk a second time.
